OD,ID, and Surface Grinding
- ID/OD Grinders can grind diameters, shoulders, tapers, fillets, grooves, etc. on the inside or outside of cylindrical parts to tolerances of up to +/- 0.0001 and extremely fine finishes. We have several high precision cylindrical grinders of various sizes to accommodate most diameters.
- Surface grinding is the most common of the grinding operations. It is a finishing process that uses a rotating abrasive wheel to smooth the flat surface of metallic or nonmetallic materials to give them a more refined look and provide a uniform surface. Not all surface grinders our the same. That is why we use two automatic Chevalier precision surface grinders.
